Silent Voices, Strong Futures: MHM Session for Special Girls at Bhiwandi School.

Under Project Laadli, we recently organized a Menstrual Hygiene Management session at Shree Nakoda Karna Badhir Vidyalay, Sarvli, Bhiwandi for special girls who communicate beyond words. Though their voices may be silent, their strength, curiosity, and willingness to learn spoke volumes.
More than 100 girls took part in the session. Understanding menstruation can be especially challenging for girls with hearing and speech impairments. Many of them are often left confused, scared, or unaware due to communication barriers.
We also distributed Menstrupedia comic books to help the girls better understand how to take care of themselves during menstruation
