Teaching Confidence and Hygiene At Kolhapur.

Under Project Laadli, we recently held a Menstrual Hygiene Management session at Patane High School, Patane, Shahuwadi, Kolhapur. More than 40 girls joined the session with interest and excitement to learn.


We talked openly about different menstrual products like reusable pads, menstrual cups, and period panties. These products are safe, comfortable, affordable, and good for the environment.


We also shared simple tips on personal hygiene, safe practices during periods, and how to take care of the body. We explained that periods are normal and nothing to feel shy or ashamed about.


The girls asked many good questions and were happy to learn more about their bodies. The session helped them feel free to talk, share, and become more confident about managing their periods.


The session was led by our trainer, Mrs. Ojaswi Thosar, with full support from the school team..
