Menstrual Hygiene Day is celebrated Globally on May 28th.
Under Project Laadli on the occasion of Menstrual Hygiene Day we recently organized a session in Panvel, Navi Mumbai.
The aim was to help and understand more about menstruation and how to stay healthy during that time. We had discussions, showed practical ways to manage hygiene, and answered questions openly.
And also showed different types of products used in periods such as the Tampons, Menstrual cup, Cotton pad and the Repad.
The session was conducted by our trainer Priya. More than 30 girls and women where the part of the session. We also distributed 30 Sanitary Pad and 30 comic of Mini Menstrupedia.
