Empowering Girls through Menstrual Hygiene Education at Shri. Mahatma Phule Vidyalaya, Kolhapur Maharashtra.

Under Project Laadli the launch of a Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) session at Shri. Mahatma Phule Vidyalaya, Kolhapur.


Understanding the need for accurate knowledge and open discussion a safe and supportive environment where the girls felt comfortable asking questions and sharing their experiences.


The session was designed to address the biological process of menstruation, importance of maintaining hygiene during periods. How to use sanitary products properly, addressing myths and misconceptions. The significance of self-care and nutrition during menstruation.


This session was attended by more than 100 girls and during session various products such as Repad, Tampon, Menstrual Cup, and our Laadli Pads were displayed and we distributed the Menstrupedia comic to each participant.


Our trainer Priya and Ojaswi also emphasized the importance of breaking the silence around menstruation and encouraged the girls to talk openly about their needs and concerns.
