In this time of despair Joyful Gifting and Pagaria Welfare Foundation wanted to support the needy and migrants .Swadheen was launched to supply ration kits and cooked food and other essential items to the people in need .•Ration kits of essential items like Flour , Rice , Dal , Masala , Oil , Salt was distributed .We had started fund raising campaign when lock down was announced and we have received excellent response from our well wishers .
We were able to lend a helping hand with love due to the excellent support received from all .We would also like to thank the entire team who helped in the operations of this project .
Amarjyoti is a small school in the rural foothills of Himalayas in Doiwala Dehradun in the state of Uttarakhand with Free Education and support for poor .Swadheen was launched to raise funds for them so that they could supply food and dry ration to the families in nearby school area .Excellent co ordination by Mr Rashmikant and his team .
Beneficiaries : Amarjyoti School , Migrant labourers , daily wage earners in 5 states , 25+ cities , with 1000+ kits and 2500+ persons benefited from this campaign .
All the distribution was carried out virtually with the use of technology and video call and money was transferred directly to bank account of the shopkeeper vendor in the area of the beneficiaries and then they would collect the rations from the same store .
